I created a more cohesive and recognizable brand presence across print, digital, and experiential marketing touchpoints.
Context
MOTiiV works with automotive dealerships to improve performance through training programs, marketing support, and branded tools. Their offerings help dealerships increase sales, streamline operations, and deliver more consistent customer experiences.
Role
Working directly under the Creative Director, I played a key role in shaping and scaling the brand across print, digital, and experiential marketing. My focus was building a more unified and intentional visual system that could support the company’s evolving needs.
Problem
Before implementing a more structured visual approach, branding across the company lacked consistency. Typography, layouts, messaging hierarchy, and production quality varied between campaigns and departments, weakening overall brand recognition and cohesion.
The company needed a scalable design system that could:
Maintain consistency across print and digital channels
Support rapidly changing dealership promotions and marketing campaigns
Improve the clarity and professionalism of educational materials
Expand the company’s branding into new product categories
Establish a stronger and more recognizable social media presence
Because of the small team structure, solutions also needed to be efficient, repeatable, and easy to maintain within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Challenges
Managing a large volume of design work as the only designer on the team

Designed customizable marketing materials that maximized dealership marketing budgets while maintaining visual consistency across campaigns
Executed email campaigns promoting sales training classes, company events, seasonal promotions, and holidays
Conceptualized and designed catalogs for educational training and promotional use
Prepared print-ready files, assisted with spot color matching, and managed preflight production requirements to ensure quality and accuracy
Developed an ongoing series of motivational social media content, helping establish a stronger and more engaging online presence for MOTIIV
Impact
My work helped transform fragmented marketing efforts into a more cohesive and recognizable brand experience for MOTiiV. By introducing stronger visual consistency across campaigns and customer touchpoints, the company was able to present itself more professionally while strengthening recognition across dealership and consumer audiences. The customizable marketing systems I designed improved efficiency for recurring campaigns while helping maximize marketing spend. Production workflows became more reliable through improved print preparation standards and color accuracy processes. Additionally, the social media content series contributed to building audience engagement and establishing a more human, motivational voice for the brand online.
Reflection
This experience taught me how impactful consistency is in building trust, recognition, and professionalism. Being on a small team also pushed me to become highly adaptable, organized, and strategic in how I approached creative problem solving. I learned to think beyond individual deliverables and instead focus on building scalable visual systems that could support multiple channels, audiences, and business goals simultaneously. This strengthened my versatility as a designer and reinforced the importance of maintaining a cohesive brand experience at every customer touch point.
